We’ve been quiet for a bit and this is why! Thankyou for your support and belief in us as we take the legal proceedings to become an official non profit with the state and federal government. It is still our mission to help pets in need!

🐾 How Often Should You Walk Your Dog? 🐕🚶‍♀️
Not all pups need the same amount of exercise — it depends on their size, weight, and breed! Here’s a quick guide to help you make sure your furry friend stays happy and healthy:

🔹 Small Breeds (like Chihuahuas, Yorkies)
👉 20–30 minutes, 1–2 times a day
They’ve got short legs and small bodies, so they tire faster — but still need to burn energy!

🔹 Medium Breeds (like Beagles, Cocker Spaniels)
👉 30–60 minutes a day
These pups are often energetic and love a good sniffari (sniffing safari)!

🔹 Large Breeds (like Labs, Boxers, Goldens)
👉 1–2 hours total a day
They benefit from a good mix of long walks and playtime to keep their bodies and brains active.

🔹 High-Energy Breeds (like Huskies, Border Collies)
👉 2+ hours a day
These working breeds need lots of stimulation. Try hikes, fetch, or dog sports too!

🛋️ Senior Dogs or Dogs with Health Issues
👉 Shorter, slower walks as tolerated
Always go at their pace and consult your vet for what’s best.

💡 Tip: Bored dogs = mischievous dogs. Daily walks prevent boredom, anxiety, and behavior problems — and they’re great bonding time too!

🐶❤️ Every dog is different — let their energy levels and health guide you!

☀️ Hot pavement can burn your dog’s paws!
You have shoes but they do not 🐾 If you can’t hold your hand on it for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for their feet. Walk in the early morning or evening, and stick to grass when in doubt.

Every pet deserves healthcare — no matter what their human is going through. 🐾💛

Pets love unconditionally. They bring joy, comfort, and companionship — often becoming our emotional lifelines in tough times. But when a pet gets sick or injured, the cost of care can feel overwhelming, especially for families facing financial hardship.

No one should have to choose between putting food on the table and helping their best friend feel better.

At Paw It Forward, we believe every animal’s life matters. We’re here to bridge the gap — because compassion shouldn’t depend on a paycheck. Together, we can make sure pets get the care they need and families get to keep the ones they love.

Because every pet deserves care. Always.

Don’t panic, a lot of times mild symptoms work themselves out. If your pet had two or more mild symptoms that persist, a vet visit is a good idea.
If the symptoms are severe take them as soon as you can.

millions of families facing heartbreaking choices every year. Pets are loved like family, but when illness or injury strikes, too many go without the care they desperately need simply because of cost.

No one should have to choose between feeding their family or saving their pet. Financial hardship shouldn’t mean animals suffer.

At Paw It Forward, we believe every pet deserves care—and every pet owner deserves compassion, not judgment. 🐾💛

Let’s build a world where help is there when it’s needed most.

💔 1 in 4 pets experience delayed vet care because their families can’t afford it.
That’s not neglect — that’s a failing system.
Veterinary care has become more expensive than ever, and for millions of pet owners, unexpected costs mean painful delays in treatment — or no treatment at all. These aren’t careless owners. These are people doing their best in a broken system.

At Paw It Forward, we believe that every pet deserves timely care, and no one should be shamed for struggling financially. Together, we can create a safety net — because love alone shouldn’t have to carry the burden.

🐾💛 Because every pet deserves care.

The phrase “if you can’t afford the vet , don’t have a pet” ignores the reality that in today’s economy, even hardworking people struggle to afford basic healthcare, let alone the skyrocketing cost of veterinary care. Pets are not luxury items—they’re companions, emotional support, and often a source of purpose and joy, especially for those living in poverty or isolation. Saying poor people don’t deserve that kind of love or connection because they can’t predict a financial emergency is cruel and classist. Compassion should extend to both pets and their people. ❤️ ——————————————————————————-
