It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of one of our own, Nick Veneziale.

Nick grew up playing baseball in our organization and later returned as a coach, giving his time to his son's team and the next generation of BAAA players. His loss will be deeply felt throughout our organization and community.

Our thoughts are with Nick's family, friends, players, and everyone who knew and loved him.

Registration is still open for the fall baseball & softball season!

BA players not only learn the skills needed to play the game, but also how to be a good sport and how to be part of a team. Our kids have a ton of fun, too! Our coaches (all volunteers) know how to balance the serious and the silly in the best way.

An added bonus for the adults: gain new friends of your own and get involved in the community. There's truly something for everyone.

Congratulations to our 10U Maniacs on their second place finish in the Etna Invitational over the weekend! It was a really great day for baseball and our team had so much fun.

Photo day is almost here! Join us on Monday, June 1st at Bellevue Elementary. The schedule is:

5:00 PM – 8U BABA 1
5:20 PM – T-Ball
5:50 PM – Softball 10U
6:10 PM – Softball 12U
6:30 PM – 8U BABA 2
6:50 PM – 10U Minor
7:10 PM – Make-up / overflow window

What an Opening Day that was! Thank you to everyone who worked to make it happen and all those that made it down to the field to cheer on our incredible athletes.

Community is really what our organization is all about and our Opening Day celebration was proof of that. Not only did we welcome our teams & their families, we also welcomed middle and high school athletes from the Northgate School District baseball and softball teams. We also had a surprise visit from the Pirate Parrot himself! Thank you to:

-Ciara DeFlorimonte for singing the National Anthem
-Cub Scout Pack 257 for presenting the colors
-Avalon Volunteer Fire Company for their help throughout the day
-Avalon Borough & Borough of Bellevue for their continued support of youth sports in our neighborhoods
