Today, South Park Girls Softball wants to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the incredible coaches who dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to our players and our program.

Coaching is so much more than practices, lineups, and game days. It’s teaching fundamentals, building confidence, encouraging teamwork, celebrating successes, learning through failures, and helping our girls grow both on and off the field.

Our coaches volunteer countless hours preparing practices, maintaining fields, communicating with families, and doing everything they can to give our players the best experience possible.

To every coach who has stepped onto the field for South Park Softball — past and present — THANK YOU! 💙🤍

The South Park Girls Softball Association would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Mike Polk for his incredible dedication to our organization and the South Park community.

After eight years of serving on the South Park Softball Board (2018–2026), Mike attended his final board meeting last week. Over those eight years, he gave countless hours of his time, energy, and heart to helping make our program better for every girl who stepped onto the field.

Mike has been a part of so many great things within our organization. But more important than any individual accomplishment is the impact he has had on our players, coaches, families, and fellow board members.

Youth sports simply don’t happen without people willing to volunteer their time behind the scenes. Mike was one of those people who stepped up year after year not because he had to, but because he wanted to make the experience better for his daughters and for all of our South Park softball players.

Mike, thank you for eight amazing years with South Park Softball. Thank you for the long meetings, the countless hours, the ideas, the work nobody saw, the laughs, and most importantly, for always putting the kids first.

You have helped leave South Park Girls Softball better than you found it, and that’s something to be incredibly proud of.

You may be leaving the board, but you will always be part of the South Park Softball family. 💙🥎

🥎 Softball is about so much more than the scoreboard! 🥎

Our South Park 8U girls had an absolute blast sharing the field with our neighbors from TJ today! From big hits to even bigger smiles, it’s amazing watching these girls grow, learn, and build friendships across town lines.
