💡🥎 The Lights are OFFICIALLY on at Wilson Field! 🥎💡
Last evening, SPGSA celebrated the long-awaited installation of lights at Wilson Field with our Saturday Night Lights & Strikes Event—and our community did NOT disappoint! 💙🤍
SPGSA athletes, coaches, board members, families, and parents—new and old—came out in full force and showed up and showed out for an unforgettable night!
The evening began with our Opening Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting, culminating in the moment we had all been waiting for—the lighting of both Big Wilson and Little Wilson!✨💡 After years of hard work, determination, and never giving up, Wilson Field was officially LIT UP!
Once the lights came on, our current SPGSA players and siblings took to Little Wilson for our Skills Competition! Congratulations to all of our participants and, of course, our winners! 🏆🥎

Then it was time for the event we had all been waiting for—the Lights & Strikes Alumni Game!🌟
Team Sekely and Team Polk went head-to-head under the lights on Big Wilson, and our SPGSA alumni from all eras came ready to play! They balled out, competed hard, and left everything on the field. It was an incredible celebration of the players who have helped build the SPGSA legacy over the years.
After a hard-fought battle, Team Sekely pulled out the 1-0 victory!👏🔥
But this night wasn't just about a softball game or a set of lights. It was about celebrating a dream that took years of dedication, perseverance, and teamwork to make a reality.

From the first pitch to the final out, Saturday night was a celebration of SPGSA, our community, and generations of softball players who have called, and will call, Wilson Field home.
