Good morning, I just wanted to let everyone that this Friday May 8th is the last day to order a shirt from Homerun Graphics. All the proceeds go to my nonprofit Huffy’s Heroes which is dedicated to the Cardiac Unit & CICU at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. We help families in need while they’re staying in the hospital. This can include paying for parking, gas cards, food, clothes, and more. We’d really appreciate it if you helped out this amazing nonprofit, and if you have ordered a shirt already I truly appreciate your help! ‼️ LINK IS BELOW‼️

Hi everyone! First off I wanna give a huge thank you to a friend of mine and Homerun Graphics for wanting to do this for me, and my nonprofit. I will put the link below ⬇️. To give you a little background about my nonprofit we are dedicated to the Cardiac Unit 7A & CICU at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh . So what we do is help children/kids and families with whatever they might need. That could could be gas cards, parking, food, clothing, toys, just anything the child or family might need/want. Because at the end of the day it’s bad enough to have to go through, or watch your child endure that. So we try and make it as smooth as possible during your stay in the hospital! I would like to introduce one of our board members Jonathan Rabatin of Huffy’s Heroes. He works at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He’s a Social Worker and works in the CICU and the 7A CICU. He’s been a long time friend of mine and was my social worker when I was a patient at the hospital. He’s going to explain a little bit about what his job entails.

Today is PA Donor Day 08/01! It’s a day dedicated to promoting organ and tissue donation in Pennsylvania. If you’re not an organ donor you should definitely think about signing up. Because if it wasn’t for the young man who signed up, I wouldn’t be here today. It’s the best gift I ever received in my life, and I appreciate it every day I wake up that I got a second chance at life. Center for Organ Recovery & Education

More than two dozen community organizations and programs were presented grants from the Rotary Club of Connellsville recently. The grant money was raised through the Rotary Club’s annual elimination dinner. More than $17,000 was raised with it going back into the community.

Huffy’s Heroes had its first official event a couple weeks ago down at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The kids got to come down and splatter paint a guitar, while we had a great performance from Scott Blasey. We couldn’t thank him enough for coming down and performing for the kids and families.
