Our Vision
-Here at LoveSeeds we believe that "spreading the love" is the coolest thing around. With a world that at times seems full of hate, darkness, and intolerance; we wish to be a source of love, light, and encouragement. We hope to plant seeds of love into hearts that would grow and then spread to others. We feel this way because God loved us first, and He gave us some pretty awesome advice
...to "Love one another as I have loved you". We may not be able to solve all the problems of this world, but right here and right now, we can make someone's life just a little bit brighter. Maybe even when they (or we) need it most. Now let's work together and plant some seeds! Our Values
-Randomness (is that a word?...it is now): The most important aspect of LoveSeeds is our commitment to random giving. This way, all our "sway" is checked at the door and the Universe puts in front of us those who need some LOVE most at the moment. When our own personal bias is set aside for the greater good, unexpected LOVE can GROW in everyone's heart.
-Inclusivity: Everyone is invited to the party! It doesn't matter what your religious affiliation (or lack thereof), skin color, orientation, or personal beliefs, we all can come together under the common ground of HUMANITY and LOVE. You know - just being a good human being type stuff! Inspiration: Inspiration causes transformation. In order to make this world a more loving place, we need to INSPIRE hearts! NO loving act is too small. You never know the impact it may have. Community: We believe that a group of individuals working as one can really create something beautiful. When we focus on what makes us alike instead of different, it allows us to connect with one another in new ways and GROW LOVE together.
-Having Fun: Well of course we are going to have fun! Because laughter is just about the best thing ever...next to LOVE! And you just can't help but smile when the heart is at work. Plus - A very smart elf once said, "I just like to smile, smiling's my favorite!"
Our History
-All of the really terrible, sad, mean, and hurtful things of this world really got us down. We mean straight up depressed! We even had a hard time sleeping at night. We wanted to do something about it. But there were just so many terrible, sad, mean, and hurtful things to choose from, that we had a hard time settling on just one! So-we prayed, and prayed, and then prayed some more that we would know which one to pick. And then it came to us! We don't have to choose. If we could just spread some love around, then more people would be willing to love others...and so on, and so on, and so on. Then, maybe all the terrible, sad, mean, and hurtful things would be less, and less, and less. And that helped us to sleep a lot better at night. Dreaming of a world where one random act of love at a time can make a difference that multiplies in the hearts of many. And that is a dream worth dreaming.
