Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders - PONL The Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders (PONL) is a non-profit, personal membership society for nurse leaders in the Keystone State.

The Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders (PONL) was chartered to serve and support the growing number of nursing leaders in the Keystone State. We are the official state affiliate of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE). The primary mission of the organization is be a vehicle for networking and information exchange among nurse executives. The organization has evolved to include a range of services, with all nurses in leadership positions being eligible for membership. PONL is a non-profit, personal membership society which promotes excellence in the practice of nursing administration. The countdown is almost complete—only 1 day remains until the 2026 PONL Annual Nursing Leadership Conference!

Representing the final day of our countdown is Heather Ambrose, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CENP, CPN, PONL President and Chief Nursing Officer at Allegheny General Hospital. With her “ #1” foam finger raised, Heather is ready to welcome nurse leaders from across Pennsylvania to Harrisburg!

More than 250 nurse leaders and industry partners will come together for two days of leadership-focused education, innovation, workforce partnership, and meaningful connections across the Commonwealth.
