🌳Join us for our Birds & Branches Tree Planting on Saturday, April 11. As part of our Party for the Planet programming, this family-oriented conservation class is designed to engage the community in protecting native birds and their habitats. Families will learn practical ways to take action, such as planting native trees with purpose, reducing threats to backyard birds, and creating bird-friendly spaces that support biodiversity in their own neighborhoods.

Following the classroom experience, participants will take direct conservation action by walking to Highland Park for a native tree planting in collaboration with Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.

Party for the Planet, celebrated as several conservation-focused events April-June, encourages guests and communities to take action for healthier habitats. AZA-accredited Zoos and Aquariums like Pittsburgh are leading the way to bring opportunities for their visitors to learn, to become inspired and to get involved!

The city’s largest yard sale is back! 🎉 This year’s Highland Park Yard Sale will take place on:

Sunday, June 14th, and sales will start at 9am.

Listings will be made available online the day of the event.

Like most years in the past, the yard sale will happen on the same day as the Bryant Street Festival, which will begin at 10:30am and run until 3pm, so please invite your friends and family! 🎵

Register to sell: https://hpcc.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/hpcc/eventRegistration.jsp?event=695&

✏️ If you prefer to register by mail/in-person, please fill out the Registration Form from the Spring 2026 HPCC Mailer. Please drop off or send in the form and a check made out to the HPCC for $20 to: Jason Griess, 827 Farragut St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.

Registration closes on June 8th. You do not need to register to shop at the Yard Sale, only to sell!

We will be distributing yard signs to participating houses between May 12th and June 12th. We will put these signs directly in your yard to advertise the sale and make it easier for you! 🪧

If you would like to participate in the Highland Park Yard Sale but do not have an appropriate space to set up a table, you can use the registration link above to register for space at the flea market, which will be located at the corner of Bryant St and N Highland Avenue. You are welcome to bring your own table at no cost. Unfortunately, we will not be providing table rentals at the flea market this year.

🎵 Don’t forget to also check out the Bryant Street Festival, taking place during the yard sale on Bryant Street from Highland to North St. Clair, with a flea market, food, other vendors, and live music. 🎵
