As we approach the end of the year, we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your continuous support. Our offices will be closed until after the New Year to allow our team to spend valuable time with their families and to honor Kwanzaa.

What is Kwanzaa?
Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration honoring African heritage and culture. It is a time for reflection, community, and unity, with each day dedicated to a different principle such as unity, self-determination, collective work, and responsibility.

We look forward to reconnecting with you in the new year, refreshed and ready to continue our journey together. Wishing you all a joyous holiday season and a prosperous new year!

Warm regards,

The UrbanKind Team

Hello Folks,

We wanted to give you a heads up that our offices will be closed next week (11/20-11/24). We're taking some time off to focus on our families and recharge.

As a small business, we believe in the importance of work-life balance and cherishing quality time with our families. By taking this break, we will be able to come back refreshed and better serve our communities in the future.

During our time off, we encourage you to also take a break and spend quality time with your loved ones. Make some unforgettable memories together!

🥳🎉🥳Yesterday Rich Fitzgerald, and the Allegheny County Department of Human Services announced a 12-month pilot program to provide some low-income transit users with discounted transit passes, with the goal of potentially launching a permanent program in late 2023. This pilot is the first step towards affordable public transit, a critical human need that, if met, would unlock access to healthy food, health care, child care, employment, and all of civic life.

If you or a household member are a SNAP recipient in Allegheny County, click the link below to learn more about the program.
