Greater Pittsburgh Chapter Bears and Blankets benefiting WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s

Each year, more than 9,000 children are admitted to WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s Hospital, many facing serious illnesses and extended hospital stays. For these young patients, a familiar source of comfort can make a meaningful difference during a difficult time.

The WVU Alumni Bears and Blankets ( https://www.alumni.wvu.edu/give-back/bearsandblankets) drive was created to bring encouragement to children through donations of new, store-bought stuffed animals and blankets. These simple gifts help provide warmth, security, and a reminder that the WVU community is supporting them.
