In a country filled with freedoms, it has become second nature to succumb to the comforts that many others are not nearly as privileged to experience, let alone wake up to. Regardless of the opinions and emotions currently swirling in our country, we owe it to the men and women who have, without hesitation, sacrificed their ambitions, dreams, time with loved ones, and even their lives so that we may continue living so freely. Appreciation and gratitude will never amount to the sacrifices that have been made. On Veterans Day, we thank all those who have served, the families of those who served, and the ever too many who have perilously and ultimately sacrificed their lives fighting for the rights and freedoms of every man and woman of this great nation.
