We use person-centered planning to empower our participants to live the life they envision for themselves. SCU coordinates services for individuals with physical disabilities, intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism and older adults helping them live independently in their homes and communities. We work with various state programs and waivers using person-centered planning focusing on indi

vidual needs and preferences. We empower our participants to make choices about their own care and connect them to services that enhance their independence. These services include home care, nursing, meals, transportation, community participation, home modifications and more. Governor Josh Shapiro shared a letter addressed to Pennsylvanians with disabilities, families, advocates and allies that addresses concerns about community living for people with disabilities.

Are you able to use your ODP Waiver Funding? The Arc of Pennsylvania wants to learn if you are able, or how much you can use your waiver funding. We are looking for information from Pennsylvanians with disabilities (and their family members) who are currently enrolled in one of the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) waivers that supports mostly people who have a diagnosis of autism and/or intellectual disability (Consolidated, Community Living and Person/Family Directed Support).
