Children's Community Pediatrics invites families to join us for a special community event honoring the extraordinary life, compassion, and legacy of beloved pediatrician Dr. Catherine Udekwu.
"Building Healthy Communities Together: Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Catherine Udekwu" is a free family-friendly event designed to bring neighbors together for a day of health, wellness, and community featuring children’s activities, games, food, community resources, and more. Come join us for a meaningful day that reflects Dr. Udekwu’s lifelong commitment to caring for children and strengthening our community.
About Dr. Catherine Udekwu:
For decades, Dr. Catherine Udekwu cared for Pittsburgh’s children with exceptional skill, kindness, and compassion. A beloved pediatrician at UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics, she built lasting relationships with generations of families, always putting children first and treating every patient as if they were her own. Her remarkable commitment to the community earned her the designation of "Dr. Catherine Udekwu Day" by the City of Pittsburgh in 2024. Today, her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched and the continued commitment to caring for children that she inspired.
