More than 3,000 USW members work in the nuclear sector at plants including Hanford, Idaho National Laboratory, the Waste Isolation Pilot Project, the former Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion plant, the former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion plant, Oak Ridge, Nuclear Fuel Services, Honeywell Uranium Hexafluoride Processing Facility, and the Cameco Port Hope Uranium Conversion Facility.
