The Penn Hills Police Advisory Board extends our deepest gratitude to the Kingerski family for their generosity in providing our members with challenge coins in honor of Officer Ryan Kingerski’s memory. These coins serve as a powerful reminder of Ryan’s service, dedication, and friendship.

Ryan will always be in our hearts, and his legacy will never be forgotten. Thank you for allowing us to carry a piece of his memory with us. đź’™

Today, the Penn Hills Police Advisory Board honors the memory of Sergeant William Schrott and Officer Bartley Connolly, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on March 25, 1972.

Their dedication, bravery, and commitment to protecting our community will never be forgotten. We remember them not only as officers but as heroes who gave their lives in service to others.

Please join us in keeping their families, loved ones, and fellow officers in our thoughts today.

End of Watch: March 25, 1972
Gone but never forgotten.

This is the hero officer we all lost last night - Newark Detective Joseph Azcona, 26. The five year veteran was executed before he could even step from his car. His partner was also shot and is recovering. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends. We will support our brothers and sisters at Newark NJ Department of Public Safety and in whatever they need.

NJ State PBA President Peter Andreyev said, “Detective Azcona’s murder is outrageous and should shock every NJ resident. The fact that some 14 year old decides to assassinate a New Jersey officer shows the failure of so many systems. What kind of society are we creating?”

Our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Duarte’s family, friends, the men and women of the West York Borough Police Department, and to all those affected by the senseless mass shooting at a UPMC facility in York County today.
