🎶 What happened on this stage was more than a concert. It was a journey into the sounds, stories, rituals, and memories of Lorestan, carried through generations and brought to life in Pittsburgh. ✨
Performed in Lori, the words may have been unfamiliar to many in the audience, but the feelings were not. ❤️
🎵 Music doesn’t need translation. It finds its way to the heart before words ever can.
Seeing people from so many different backgrounds connect with the folk music of Lorestan was one of the most beautiful parts of this night. 🌍❤️🎶
🙏 Thank you to Nariman Assadi, Mazdak Alipour, and Behfar Bahadoran for bringing The Forgotten Maqâms of Lorestan to Pittsburgh, and thank you to everyone who joined us and became part of this unforgettable evening. ✨

💚✌🏻❤️

ISA proudly expresses its full and unwavering support for the Iranian people’s revolution and their courageous struggle against the current criminal occupying regime.

After 47 years of clear and systematic oppression, injustice, and violence, the people of Iran are rising to reclaim their fundamental rights, dignity, and freedom, while being left alone inside the country, with all communications completely cut off and the world largely remaining silent.

Despite isolation, censorship, internet shutdowns, and brutal repression, the people of Iran continue their fight with extraordinary courage and determination. Their struggle is not only against tyranny, but also against imposed silence and abandonment.

We stand in full solidarity with Iranian students in the city of Pittsburgh and affirm that you are not alone. We stand beside you, united, determined, and hopeful, supporting your resistance and amplifying the voice of a nation that refuses to be silenced. Your bravery reflects the strength and resilience of a people striving for a free, democratic, and just Iran.

We firmly believe that this long and painful chapter will come to an end, and that together we will soon celebrate victory, freedom, and the liberation of our homeland.

Long live Iran. Long live the Iranian people.
