ASRA Pain Medicine is proud to represent our members at the 2026 American Medical Association (AMA) House of Delegates Annual Meeting. This event gathers physicians from across the country to develop policies that affect patient care, physician practice, and the future of medicine.

During the meeting, ASRA Pain Medicine delegates and representatives will advocate for important issues affecting our specialty and our patients. These issues include protecting access to evidence-based pain care, advancing physician-led care, addressing reimbursement challenges, ensuring workforce sustainability, and overcoming barriers to high-quality healthcare.

As a member of the AMA House of Delegates, ASRA Pain Medicine is dedicated to ensuring that the voices of regional anesthesia and pain medicine physicians are heard in national policy discussions. We aim to collaborate with colleagues across the medical field to advance meaningful solutions for patients and healthcare professionals alike.

We sincerely appreciate our delegates, Drs. David Provenzano and Richard Chou, Resident and Fellow Section representative Dr. Ochuko Ogbon, and Executive Director Elizabeth Smith, CAE, for their leadership and advocacy on behalf of our members and the specialty!
