The Black Studio is grateful to share a conversation with . She is an artist, independent curator, writer, and cultural worker whose work moves thoughtfully across Black cultural production, memory, visibility, and self-representation. Her practice holds space for the complexity of Black life and the many ways art can carry history, presence, and feeling.

This conversation comes alongside Glory at NXTHVN ( ), a deeply resonant exhibition co-curated by Tara Fay Coleman and Juanita Sunday. We’re honored to be in conversation with Coleman and to spend time with the ideas and care informing this work.

We will be posting the footage in segments!
