Theosophical Society in Pittsburgh The Theosophical Society in America is the American Section of the Theosophical Society, which has its international headquarters in Adyar, (Madras), India.

The society sponsors educational seminars in religion, philosophy, science, health, and the arts and maintains a library for the study of comparative religions and theosophy at its Wheaton, Illinois Headquarters. The society is over 100 years old and is dedicated to the scholarly pursuit of knowledge; it has no stated political agenda or professes any religious affiliations. The Pittsburgh Theosop

hical lodge was founded in 1906 and is one of the oldest chartered lodges in the world. Membership is encouraged, but not required for anyone wishing to attend a society-sponsored program. Anyone wishing to learn more about the organization may come to any scheduled meeting. The Theosophical Society of Pittsburgh meetings are on Sunday from 1:30-3 pm and are free and open to the public. Feel free to bring a friend.
