It's a $5 Friday!!! The drawing will be on the last Monday of June. As you can see from the photos we have some great Prizes including ear buds donated by Jane Korn . Other prizes include a Project Kena Shirt, Mug, Betsy Ann Chocolate and a $25 restaurant gift card to the place of your choice. We rely heavily on $5 Fridays to save dogs and without participation we are limited to what we can do.

Say hello to sweet senior girl Samantha. Prayers for her to find a home that would accept a senior girl have been answered. She is flying from Puerto Rico to her new home in Pittsburgh, PA. Project Kena was able to place this sweet girl and through the dedicated and hard work of Audra Lacey-ehrlich Wendy Montanez and Sali Gear she will be able to go to a new home to live out the rest of her life. Samantha never gave up hope that she would find a new home filled with love. Safe travels sweet girl and remember the world loves you!

Family needed!!! This poor sweet girl is a 13 year old Husky named Chloe. She is blind in one eye but still full of love. Her family is abandoning her because they are moving to another country. She urgently needs a home. She is great with kids, dogs and loves, loves her hoomans. She is currently about an hour outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Project Kena was asked to try to help this sweet girl a place to call home again. We are looking for someone within 2 1/2 hours of Pittsburgh to please, please open your heart and home to her. Update on Duke. He was taken from the shelter and is spending a few relaxing days in boarding before he makes his journey from California to Colorado. Thank you to everyone who donated to his transport, so that this sweet boy can live his best life.
