The March 22d Luncheon was the biggest and best yet! Over 150 people attended, including an increasing number of Campers. There were more raffle baskets than ever and there were many larger items, including, Steeler tickets, paintings from Tom Smith and J. Larry Kuzmanko and a "Heart Quilt" by Marcie Kustra. Check out the "About" and "Photos" section of the website if you want to take a look.

Our speakers were Susan and Clarence Trent, a couple that began at Camp Raising Spirits as Campers and are now key volunteers. Their powerful words, and enjoyable stories demonstrated the impact of Camp Raising Spirits.

Remember, Camp is the weekend of Friday June 5 at Laurelville Conference Center in Westmoreland County. If you have not yet registered, now is the time.

8th Annual Sandra Lee Shafer Memorial Luncheon

Our annual luncheon was held on Sunday April 6 at Youghiogheny Country Club. Another warm and wonderful event with friends of Camp Raising Spirits and an increasing number of campers.

Considering attendance, baskets and other prizes to raffle and a matching gift event from the floor, and funds raised this was Camp's most successful luncheon ever.

Our speaker was Brian McMahon, a long time volunteer and core committee member, who spoke powerfully regarding his late Mother's struggle with cancer and what Camp Raising Spirits means to him and his family.

SAVE THE DATE: The 9th annual Luncheon will be Sunday, March 22, 2026, when we return to Youghiogheny County Club for spring fun and fellowship.
