🚨 UNIT LEADERS: Take 5 Minutes Today!

Fall recruitment is going strong, and families are searching for Scouting units in their communities.

Before your next meeting, take a few minutes to check your unit’s information on BeAScout. Make sure families can easily find the information they need to take the next step toward joining Scouting.

Your unit’s pin should have current, accurate information that makes it easy for a family to learn more and connect with you.

Check it. Update it. Make sure families can find you!

The Pittsburgh Hike has added to it’s name, but its purpose remains the same: getting Scouts outside, exploring their community and discovering the history around them.

The Norm Miller Pittsburgh Hike honors a longtime Scouter who dedicated his life to community service and Scouting.

Norm was an Eagle Scout, helped activate Troop 2 in 1982 and served as its Scoutmaster for more than 38 years. He was also passionate about hiking, especially historical trails.

It’s fitting, then, that his name will be carried along a Hike that invites Scouts to explore the history and landmarks of Pittsburgh.

On November 7, we’ll kick off the relaunch of the Pittsburgh Hike at Flag Plaza.
Come celebrate the return of this Pittsburgh Scouting tradition, grab your Hike booklet and start exploring.

The Pittsburgh Hike is back. Let’s hit the trail. Sign up using the link or visit the event calendar on our website.
