Pack 343 held our 2026 Blue and Gold ceremony today. It was great seeing everyone there! At the end, our Arrow of Light den crossed over to Troops 945 and 73.

Pack 343 held our 2026 Pinewood Derby today at St. Raphael in Morningside. Congratulations to all of our Scouts, and thanks to all the leaders who helped make the event possible.

Join Cub Scout Pack 343 at St. Raphael in Morningside (1154 Chislett) at 6:00 pm on Wednesday August 27 for our welcome night as our fall program gets started. Games for kids and an opportunity for parents to ask questions and learn more about Cub Scouts.

Our Cub Scout Pack includes boys and girls in grades K-5, divided into smaller groups called dens. Dens are organized by grade level, and Cub Scouts work on adventures tailored to their age/grade. We meet in Morningside and Shadyside: St. Raphael when we meet outdoors and Sacred Heart when we meet indoors.

Cub Scouting is the best after school activity for kids in elementary school! The Cub Scout program’s outdoor adventures give children the opportunity and freedom to explore a world beyond the boundaries of everyday life. Cub Scouts presents them with many opportunities to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, develop leadership skills, make new friends, and most importantly, have fun!

Cub Scout Pack 343’s Welcome Night is this Wednesday, August 28 at 6:00 pm. We will be meeting outdoors at Saint Raphael Church (1154 Chislett Street) in Morningside to kickoff our new program year. Bring a blanket or chairs and see what Cub Scouts is all about! We will start off with a short Pack meeting, then kids will play games while adults get a chance to learn more about Cub Scouting. This is a great chance to meet other families in our Pack and get your questions answered. We hope to see you there!

Cub Scouts is for boys and girls in grades K-5. We meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm during the school year. Interested in scouting? Join us tomorrow, Wednesday 7/24 5-7 pm at Lake Carnegie in Highland Park for an evening of fishing! Scouts will be vying for the biggest catch, along with working towards their respective Fishing and Summertime Fun adventures. Bring your own rod if you have one, though loaner rods will be available.

Cub Scout Pack 343 is a family pack, welcoming both boys and girls, k-5th grade. We typically meet weekly during the school year, and have a variety of summer activities as well as quarterly campouts. Meetings are split between locations in the Shadyside and Morningside neighborhoods of Pittsburgh.
