ScottyLabs is a club devoted to helping students learn about and explore interesting topics in technology. We organize educational events to help people learn how to make things, host workshops to give students the opportunity to work on projects outside of class, and develop applications and services for the campus community. Our initial project APIs@CMU, was made to create and maintain APIs for datasets around the school. From course schedules to dining menus, we want to make it easier for developers to solve the problems in their environment by making data accessible in an intuitive fashion. We've grown to include other projects that specifically target the different building blocks of innovation. We hope to help people find what they need in order to start developing and solving the problems around them. If you'd like to join our efforts or learn more, please contact hello AT scottylabs.org.
