Pitt Green Fund

The Pitt Green Fund works to provide support for student sustainability projects on campus! We'll help you submit a proposal and make your idea into a reality!

The Pitt Green Fund provides financial and organizational support for student-organized sustainability projects on campus. If you have an idea for how to make Pitt a more sustainable campus, then we want to hear it! You can post your ideas on our wall, send us a message, or e-mail us at [email protected]. Several projects are selected and funded every year by the Green Fund Allocations Board

, which is a group of 8 students responsible for allocating money from the Green Fund and also for providing support for project leaders. You can find out more and get some project ideas at www.pittgreenfund.com. Follow us on Twitter & Instagram

💧In honor of World Water Day, (March 22, 2022) the Green Fund happily funded the Contemporary Environmental Literature class for their event to raise more awareness on the water crisis. Brita water pitchers and faucet filters were given away in an effort to support clean drinking water on campus for students!
