Our Community Outreach Team recently visited the Southwestern Veterans’ Center to connect with residents and share more about the services and resources available through HDS. 💜

Community outreach is an important part of our work - helping ensure people know where to turn for support, information, and resources related to hearing loss and communication access.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to spend time with the veterans and staff and continue building connections throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Access to the right technology can make a meaningful difference in everyday life. 💜

Through HDS’s Assistive Device Center, individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing can explore, test, and find assistive devices that meet their unique needs. We’re especially grateful when grant support helps make these resources even more accessible to members of our community.

Moments like this are what our work is all about: connecting people with tools that support greater independence, safety, and connection.

Stop by the Erie Insurance Courtyard from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and visit the HDS table. We would love to say hello, share more about our work in the Erie community, and celebrate alongside so many wonderful local organizations.
