Midas has been "keeping it real" since March 13th 2019. I will continue to train individuals in the future. I still want to help athletes get $$$$ for college. I am going to start posting the daily workouts I give my high school track team for any current or past Midas athletes. They are mostly running or conditioning, but are beneficial no matter what events you do.

2020 USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Championships cancelled

Indianapolis – The 2020 USATF Hershey National Junior Olympics Track & Field Championships to be held in Jacksonville, Florida July 27-August 2 have been cancelled, USATF announced today.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the University of North Florida and its local health authorities have closed its campus through at least July 30. USATF, in conjunction with the youth committee, is exploring possible alternate contingencies for the Junior Olympic athletes once the crisis allows track facilities to open.

The fate of the USATF Youth Outdoor Championships to be held in Miramar, Florida will be determined no later than April 30. The event is scheduled for June 23-28.

Here we go!
Midas conditioning will start next Sunday, October 20th at 2p at the schenley oval. Temp should be around 70. We will also practice on Fridays at 630p at the Neighborhood Academy 709 N. Aiken ave 15206. The Sunday practices will be at 2p, but will will do them outside as long as we can.

Always dress for the weather. We will be outside most days.

Cost: Please make check to "Midas Xperience" or pay online at www.midasathletics.com and use the "Donate Now" button at the top left of the homepage.

Between October and March we will workout @50 times. The cost for this is $280. Included in this are $140 of the required cost that follow:

*A USATF membership ($20) will be needed (included in the cost).

*There are four meets at Youngstown :Jan 11+18, Feb 15+22

For theses meets it is $10/event. I believe each of our athletes will do 3 events =$30. That is $120 for theses meets. (included)

*I do not have the date/location for the Tri-State indoor championship. This should be paid by your school if they are a part of the Tri-State Assoc.

*The state championship at Penn St is Sunday March 1st. To qualify for this meet you must be in the top 24 in the state,

I suggest getting a hotel for the Saturday before now if you plan on making it. I am at the holiday inn 1925 Waddle Road, 16803. The cost is $6/event. I did not include this charge in our cost.
