The dance floor in our new space is currently under renovation! Thank you to Ed, Ethan, Dan, Shawn, and Rick who worked tirelessly this weekend (and will continue to work on it this week) to make it dance ready for the season! We appreciate you!

Lots of fun was had this past weekend at our 2025-26 Weihnachtsfeier! Celebrating the holiday season with friends and family is always a highlight of the beginning of each new year for our Verein.

Thank you to all of our members, volunteers, friends, and fellow Vereine for your dedication and support throughout 2025. We can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store!

We wrapped up our Oktoberfest performances yesterday at Hidden Valley!

Following the Oktoberfest filled with drinks, dancing, food, and great people, some of our members had a potluck dinner to send off the season.

We spent this past weekend performing at Oktoberfest in Bethlehem, PA! So much fun was had and it was great to catch up with our friends from Philidelphia !

We had a few members represent us at @30.gaufest - and we had a wonderful time!! Thank you to and for hosting!

Congratulations to Stephen Hargreaves who won 2nd place in the Baum 60+ EinzelPreisplattln representing our club! And a special shout out to Rudy Leschke (Ehrenvorplattler) who won 1st in the Baum 60+ EinzelPreisplattln, representing his home vereine, Die Gemütlichen Schuhplattler!

On Saturday, we participated in a Trachten Wallfahrt Procession to St. Anthony Chapel, where we had Mass. We then headed to the Teutonia Männerchor Club House where we enjoyed the evening Heimatfest with a dinner buffet, dancing, and incredible music by the Siasswasser Tanzlmusi who traveled from Detroit! Thank you to all who joined us, including the vereine who traveled to be with us!

Congratulations the four members of our verein who participated in the Pittsburgh half and full marathon yesterday! Shawn Hinnebusch ran the full marathon, Shelly Hinnebusch and Lauren Stumpp ran the half marathon, and Stacie Patterson participated in the walking division of the half marathon! We are so proud of their efforts! 🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️

Please join us for our Trachten Wallfahrt and Heimatfest on Saturday, May 31! Not only are we celebrating our 53rd year of preserving our beloved Bavarian and Austrian cultural traditions, but we will also have a Trachten Wallfahrt, a prayerful procession in Germany where participants keep a special intention in their hearts and offer prayers on behalf of their prayer intentions while processing to the Chapel for Mass. We are the only Verein in North America that sponsors this wonderful tradition, with the last in 2015 (due to the 2020 event being interrupted by COVID)! You need not be Catholic to participate in the Wallfahrt, and we hope you will consider joining us!
