WBA Happy Hour on Thursday, June 23rd from 4:30-6:30 pm!

We are looking forward to gathering together in-person after a long hiatus (finally). We are excited to finally return to in-person events after enduring much of the pandemic. We welcome you to come and network with other WBA members on June 30, 2021 from 5-7 pm at City Works in Market Square (2 PPG Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) for our General Membership Happy Hour. Feel free to bring colleagues and potential members and introduce them to the WBA. Melissa Ruggiero and Michelle Pierson will be hosting tables with complimentary appetizers and there will be a cash bar. We also will vote to approve Officers for July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022, and otherwise just enjoy the opportunity to get together in-person. The Nominating Committee has approved the following slate:

On June 19, 2019, the WBA will be presenting a 2 PA substantive credit CLE entitled "Questions and Answers about Pretrial Release in State and Federal Court." Speakers include: Deputy District Attorney Brian Catanzarite; Assistant United States Attorney Shanicka Kennedy; Assistant Federal Public Defender Thomas "Skip" Livingston; and J. Richard Narvin, Chief Counsel, Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel. Melissa Ruggiero, Associate Counsel, Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel, will moderate.
