The I-376 Commercial Street Bridge reopened to traffic 8 days ahead of schedule, and this extraordinary achievement belongs to every person who made it possible.

From closure to demolition, implosion cleanup, bridge slide, roadway reconstruction, and reopening, this team accomplished in just 17 days what many thought couldn't be done.

People have called this project a feat of engineering. They're right. But the true marvel wasn't just the bridge. It was the people behind it.

It was the employees who showed up in 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week. It was the equipment operators, laborers, pile drivers, carpenters, cement masons, ironworkers, electricians, truck drivers, supervisors, engineers, inspectors—every trade represented on this project.

It was the determination to keep moving through extreme heat, wildfire smoke, long shifts, sleepless nights, and time away from their families. It was the grit to solve challenges in real time and the commitment to never compromise on safety or quality.

Every yard of concrete placed, every beam set, every bolt tightened, every piece of debris removed, and every hour worked brought this bridge one step closer to reopening a week ahead of schedule.

This project wasn't defined by steel and concrete. It was defined by sacrifice, craftsmanship, resilience, and pride.

To our dedicated crews, our project partners, and the members of the local unions who built this bridge—thank you. Your work will serve this community for generations, and everyone who crosses this bridge will benefit from the commitment demonstrated every single day.

This is your achievement.
