Rodrigues Fund was established to honor Robert Manuel Rodrigues, a teacher who knows that history is about the people who make it. A teacher who knows field trips and guest speakers are just as important as lectures and textbooks. A teacher who deserves a living tribute. Rod as his students call him, taught history at Chartiers Valley High School (CVHS) from 1976 to 2017. Over the years, Mr. Rod i

nspired thousands of students to further their knowledge of the past and better their communities for the future. Each year, The Robert M. Rodrigues Fund awards a $1,000 scholarship to a senior graduating from CVHS. Rod has dedicated his career to the CVHS community; now, it’s our turn to give back in his honor.
