The Choices for Children program has provided Early Intervention services to families of deaf and hard of hearing infants and toddlers for over 30 years. The experienced, certified teachers are the cornerstones of this primarily home-based program, with regular visits scheduled to home or daycare settings. The Choices staff provide comprehensive and objective information, advocacy, and training in

language, audition and speech for infants and toddlers who have a hearing loss. Choices for Children also offers a variety of site-based activities providing opportunities to interact with other parents, share concerns, discuss common issues and develop friendships. Activities such as the Discovery Day playgroup, family workshops, and sign language classes reinforce and enhance the home visits. Our Choices For Children program was represented at the National EHDI conference. We were very grateful for the opportunity to present about our Parent Partnership and Toddler Space to folks from near and far! It’s exciting to share what’s happening in our program with others and learn about other programs serving the Littles and their families across the country.
