💧 Clean Water is Changing Lives. Ingomar Living Waters and partner Hope for Ghana helped to make this life-changing project possible. 🌍❤️ 💧For years, families in Abutia Agbadzi and Zemu-Ativekoe relied on muddy, contaminated water shared with cattle. Children walked miles for water before school, families battled cholera and skin diseases, and daily life revolved around the struggle to survive without safe water. Today, new boreholes are transforming these communities.✅ Children can get to school on time✅ Families have safe water to drink and cook✅ Health and sanitation are improving✅ Farmers and families can focus on building better futures. Clean water is more than a necessity — it brings hope, dignity, health, and opportunity. 💧 Clean Water Changes Everything. The Pine-Richland High School Interact Club recently held a Walk for Water fundraiser to help bring clean, safe water to the village of Avegborlo in Ghana’s Volta Region. Through a tremendous partnership with the Rich-Mar Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, Hope for Ghana, and Ingomar Living Waters, the project funded a borehole and hand pump, which provided life-changing clean water for the community. Until recently, 400 villagers relied on polluted water sources shared with cattle and traveled miles to buy unsafe water. During the dry season, many families were left with no water nearby. Waterborne diseases are common, and even basic hygiene becomes impossible. A $5,000 project can transform an entire village with health, hope, and dignity. Every step taken during the Walk for Water is helping make that future possible. 💙 Learn more at https://ingomarlivingwaters.org/2025-020/ Rich Mar Rotary Hope for Ghana

Clean water is not just a necessity — it is life, dignity, health, and a path toward a brighter future for hundreds of people. 💙💧Families in two villages in Uganda, Kyejumikiire & Kamugembe, had no nearby safe water source. Women and children traveled nearly 6 km for clean water — an exhausting and dangerous journey. The only nearby water comes from contaminated streams and ponds shared by domestic and wild animals, exposing families to illnesses such as typhoid and cholera. Children were sick from water filled with bacteria, snakes, and parasites. Tragically, lives had already been lost, especially the youngest villagers. Families were trapped in a cycle of illness, clinic visits, and poverty simply because they lacked access to safe drinking water.
Thanks to Ingomar Living Water and CEED, clean water transformed these villages, making them healthier, enabling children to attend school, reducing unproductive time spent fetching water, and bringing greater safety and hope to the entire community ✨ Learn more about Kyejumikiire https://ingomarlivingwaters.org/2025-080/ and Kamugembe https://ingomarlivingwaters.org/2025-082/ For inquiries about projects, contact [email protected]

Ingomar Living Waters and the Catholic Diocese help make time for school, provide energy for farming, and build a future free from disease. From the inland village of Nyarubele to the coastal town of Pangani, Tanzania, the struggle was the same: families were trapped in a cycle of poverty and waterborne illness. In both villages, clean water was a luxury. Residents either walked miles for expensive water or risked their lives drinking from contaminated ponds and salty wells. For the 7,000+ people across these communities, diseases like cholera and typhoid were a daily threat, and the burden fell heaviest on women and girls. Today, we celebrate a shared victory! In Nyarubele, a new well has replaced stagnant ponds with pure, safe water. In Pangani, a new storage system provides fresh rainwater, ending reliance on undrinkable sources. No one should have to drink water from the same source as livestock. Two villages in Amezakope and Dansukrom-Nyikpodzi, Ghana, faced an urgent crisis: a lack of clean water. 💧Source: Drinking from stagnant rivers and animal-dugouts filled with parasites and waste. Health: Constant battles with cholera, bilharzia, and painful rashes. Education: Children are missing school because they are too sick to attend or lack water for bathing. Poverty: Families forced to walk miles or spend their little income on expensive water refills. Solution: A borehole with clean water restored health, dignity, and education to these 1,000+ hardworking people thanks to Ingomar Living Waters and Hope for Ghana. In the heart of Malawi’s Thyolo District, the daily act of survival is a grueling marathon. For the families of Mangazi and Walasi, clean "water" was a crisis. These communities relied on contaminated seasonal streams, and open hand-dug wells shared with livestock and wildlife. For women and children, this means: Lost Time: Round-trip taking up to 8 hours, forcing children to choose between a drink of water and their education, Physical Strain: Carrying up to 40 liters of water over miles of rough, hilly terrain, Deadly Risks: A constant battle with cholera, typhoid, and dysentery. Families were forced to choose between unaffordable clinic fees and the trauma of losing loved ones to preventable diseases. Clean water is more than a resource—it is the foundation for a future where they are finally surviving to thriving. Ingomar Living Waters and Heaven's Family made this happen. Clean water isn’t just a need. It’s a turning point. Two villages shared one struggle. There was one life-changing solution.💧In Metekpo and Sapor Sisi, families relied on unsafe water—whether from Lake Volta or a shrinking, debris-filled stream. The result was the same: widespread disease, children missing school, and daily hardship. Yet these communities are strong and determined. What they lacked is simple but critical: clean water. A borehole in each village has transformed lives—protecting health, restoring dignity, and giving children a chance to stay in school. Over 700 lives were changed by Ingomar Living Waters and Hope for Ghana. Two resilient villages in Ghana—Kpevekor Dorfor and Kesewe Dorfor—are filled with hardworking families, but both face a daily crisis: no access to clean, safe water. Today, they rely on distant, polluted streams and dams shared with animals, leading to serious health issues like cholera and dysentery —especially among children. The solution was simple and life-changing thanks to Ingomar Living Waters and Hope for Ghana. Each village received a borehole well. Clean water now means fewer diseases, more children in school, and a renewed sense of dignity and hope. Two villages in Uganda—Kyabajumira Wansisa and Rugogio—shared a reality no one should face: living without clean, safe water. People depended on polluted ponds to survive. Diseases like typhoid were common, taking away families' income and keeping children out of school. Women walked long distances to gather water, risking their health and facing enormous strain. Access to clean water is about more than health; it also involves safety, dignity, education, and opportunities. Without it, communities were stuck in a cycle of poverty and hardship. Access to safe water changed everything, thanks to Ingomar Living Waters and CEED.💧Learn more at Kyabajumira Wansisa https://ingomarlivingwaters.org/2025-013/ and Rugogio https://ingomarlivingwaters.org/2025-045/
