The Self-Development of People (SDOP) Committee
of Pittsburgh Presbytery is NOW accepting
2025 Grant Applications
for group projects
through September 16, 2024 (Noon)

Maximum Award up to $7000 to be announced December 16, 2024

An SDOP grant will be awarded to a project controlled and owned by “a group” of disadvantaged individuals who directly benefit from efforts that seek to correct and/or address systemic injustice related to poverty, economic discrimination, and marginalization of underserved/ minority communities. Solo entrepreneurs, projects, and/or proposals with four or less individuals are not eligible. To be approved and recommended for consideration the group must have a minimum of five (preferably seven) individuals with equal decision making power and equal share in benefits.
