❗️Important Announcement❗️

First, I want to thank everyone for the support shown to the Justice Through Community Initiative. The reception has been overwhelming, and I am grateful for everyone who has believed in the vision.

When JTCI began, the goal was to bring people together around service, collaboration, and community. That vision is now growing into something real, and with that growth comes the responsibility to protect the integrity of the mission.

For that reason, JTCI is amending its membership requirements.

Sign-ups for The Courtyard program are now officially closed. Sign-ups for other JTCI programs will reopen for one day only, so please stay tuned if you are interested.

After that date, anyone seeking to join the initiative will need either an interview or a Community Member sponsor.

We believe this change is necessary to preserve the quality of the community we are building, protect our members, and ensure that JTCI continues to grow with purpose.

For those I haven't met yet — I'm Zane Harrison Gates. Attorney, advocate, father, son ⚖️, and someone who believes deeply in the strength of this community 🤝.

That belief is why I built The Courtyard 🏛️.

The Courtyard is a collaborative legal resource community — connecting people directly with attorneys, law firms, legal-aid organizations, public-interest groups, and trusted legal resources 🔗. When someone needs help, they shouldn't have to search alone or wonder where to turn 🧭.

I originally planned to launch this Friday as a simple directory. But the more I built it, the more it became something bigger — a genuine community built on collaboration, shared knowledge, and the belief that the right resource, found at the right moment, can change the course of someone's life ✨.
