This May, we’re inviting Black women who have breastfed to turn their lived experience into community power. Join us for our FREE Breastfeeding Peer Support Specialist Training; a 20-hour hybrid program led by Ngozi Tibbs, MPH, IBCLC, designed to equip you with the skills to support and advocate for Black mothers through culturally rooted breastfeeding education.
No professional experience required. Just lived experience and a desire to make a difference.
Sessions in May via Zoom:
May 2, 9 | 12:30–3:30 PM
May 6, 11, 18, 20 | 4:30–7:30 PM
May 27 | 4:30–6:30 PM
Graduates will be eligible to join Healthy Start’s Center for Urban Breastfeeding as Peer Support Specialists. Because breastfeeding support by us, for us changes everything.
