Was at the USDF annual convention and had the pleasure of meeting William (Bill) Woods. Bill was being honored with the USDF Lifetime Achievement award. He shared his story. Bill started riding north of Pittsburgh with a horse-focused family who was involved with HRHPC and the Harts Run Hunt. So cool to hear how this experience directed his life.

It's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to one of our alum, instructors and lifelong supporters, Angel Martin-Dias, who passed away on March 5.

Angel embodied the spirit of Pony Club and the world won't be the same without her. She will be remembered fondly by 5* riders and young riders alike who caught the eventing bug from her! Her dedication to educating young riders to become more than just riders, but also good horsemen & horsewomen was unwavering, as was her love for her equine & canine partners, as well as her loving husband, Wes. We were fortunate to have her as a champion and role model. She touched the lives of so many and we will miss her terribly. We can only hope to honor her by following her example.

This is great info with spring (hopefully) right around the corner!

Grass sugar content fluctuates with the time of day, season, and weather. Timing pasture access for horses with EMS, IR, or a history of laminitis can help prevent serious problems.
