Amit Kumar, PhD was awarded a 2026 Center for Immunometabolism (CIM) Postdoctoral Trainee Award.

CIM was established at the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. They developed the CIM Postdoctoral Trainee Award to support innovation and collaboration in immunometabolism research at the university.

Dr. Kumar is a postdoctoral associate in the lab of Dr. Vijay Yechoor. The title of his project is: “Circadian Regulation of cGAS-STING Signaling in Hepatocyte-Driven Immunometabolic Crosstalk in MASH.”

Allie Cermak, Graduate Student Researcher was awarded a 2026 Center for Immunometabolism (CIM) Graduate Student Trainee Award.

CIM was established at the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. They developed the CIM Graduate Student Trainee Award to support innovation and collaboration in immunometabolism research at the university.

Allie is a student in the Molecular Pharmacology Graduate Program and is mentored by Dr. Alison Kohan. The title of her projected is: “Investigating Dietary Triglyceride Metabolism in Intestinal Tregs”.
