🎭 Calling Performing Arts Teaching Artists in Western PA!
Do you believe the arts belong in early childhood classrooms?
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is recruiting Teaching Artists for the Western PA Wolf Trap program for the 2026–2027 school year.
This nationally recognized program, developed by the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, partners professional artists with preschool educators to bring music, dance, theatre, puppetry, and storytelling into early learning classrooms.
Teaching Artists collaborate with teachers to design creative strategies that support literacy, social-emotional learning, and active engagement for preschool and kindergarten students.

💰 Compensation
• $1,100 stipend for required New Artist Training (May 11–15, 2026)
• Average $850 per residency
📍 Artists must reside in Western Pennsylvania and be available for school-day residencies October 2026 – June 2027.
