Looking for something your kids will actually be excited about? 🏕️

Cub Scout Pack 329 just wrapped up an amazing fall, and we'd love for your family to be part of what's next!

In just the past few weeks, our Scouts:
🔥 Learned camping skills from older Scouts, who showed them how to set up tents and run a camp kitchen
🌲 Spent a weekend at Laurel Hill State Park hiking, exploring the falls, and building their own shelters
🔪 Worked on their Whittling Chip and knocked out rank requirements
🍝 Shared family meals with the whole pack, cooked right there at camp

Cub Scouts is built for the whole family. Parents and siblings join in on campouts and events, and kids learn real skills, build confidence, and make friends that last. Plus, our older Scouts mentor the younger ones, so your child always has someone to look up to.

Our family campout was a full weekend of fun for the entire family, meals included, all for under $100. Where else can you find that?

We promised to show you how Fall Family Camp turned out, and what a weekend it was! 🏕️🍂

Cub Scouts and their families spent three days at Laurel Hill State Park, cabin camping in brand-new facilities with plenty of space for the families who wanted to pitch a tent. Siblings and parents came along, so it truly was a family weekend.

The schedule was packed with adventure. We hiked past fields of goldenrod on Saturday and climbed the rocks along the falls, and some Scouts even tried a little fishing. 🎣 The Scouts also built their own shelter from branches and grass and worked on their Whittling Chip. They knocked out a lot of rank requirements along the way while having a blast. Our Arrow of Light Scouts completed their overnight campout, one more step on their path to Scouts BSA.

At mealtime, parents and leaders teamed up in the camp kitchen to cook for the whole pack. The evenings ended in the dining hall with group activities and plenty of laughs.

Scouting is something the whole family gets to do together. Kids get outside, learn real skills, and make lifelong friends, and parents get to be right there for all of it.

Where else can your whole family get a weekend of camping, hiking, skill-building, and all your meals cooked for you, for under $100? 🙌

Cub Scout Pack 329 is all about fun, hands-on adventures, and the outdoors! 🏕️

At our pack meeting last week, the older Scouts stepped up to teach our Cub Scouts everything they'd need for our fall campout. We kicked things off with a talk on "What is a Scout?" Did you know "scout" comes from the Latin word for "listener"? Scouting has been helping kids build leadership skills since 1907, and a good leader is a great listener.

Then it was time to get hands-on. The older Scouts showed the Cubs how to set up a tent and walked them through a real camp kitchen, from the pans to the spices to the cleanup. Next came the teamwork challenges. The Scouts worked together to build a tower of cans using only strings tied to a single loop, with no hands allowed. They also flipped a giant tarp over while everyone stayed standing on it, and there were plenty of laughs along the way.

That's what Scouting is all about. Older kids mentor the younger ones, and the younger ones grow into leaders themselves. It all paid off this past weekend on our fall camping trip, where we had an amazing turnout and a great time.

What a night at our pack meeting last week! 🏕️

This is what Scouting is all about: the older Scouts stepped up to teach and lead our Cub Scouts. They opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Scout Oath, then talked about what it really means to be a Scout. Did you know "scout" comes from the Latin word for "listener"? A good leader is a great listener.

Then it was hands-on. The older Scouts walked our Cubs through a real camp kitchen setup, from the patrol box to the camp stove to the tent, and got everyone ready for our fall campout. The tarp flip challenge was a highlight. The whole group had to flip the tarp over while everyone stayed standing on it. It took lots of teamwork, a little wobbling, and plenty of laughs.

All that prep paid off on our fall camping trip this past weekend. We had an amazing turnout, and every Scout had a blast. 🔥⛺

Watching the older kids mentor the younger ones is one of the best parts of Scouting. Today's Cub Scouts are tomorrow's leaders.

🎉 What a great time at the Fall Social in North Park with our friends from Peebles Elementary! 🎉

It was awesome seeing so many friendly faces and answering questions from families checking out Scouts. We played games with the kids, spotted some wildlife out in the park, and enjoyed pizza and cookies together. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Next up: our first Pack meeting of the year is Monday, September 21st at 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Church! We'll be reminiscing about all our summer adventures and sharing the exciting fall activities we have planned.

Everyone is welcome — especially families still deciding if Scouts is right for them! This is the perfect chance to come see what Pack 329 is all about and meet our Scouts and leaders. Cub Scouts is open to all kids K-5th grade.

🔥 THANK YOU! What a night.

Meet the Pack Night was everything we hoped it would be — and then some. The weather held, the grill never stopped, and we went through almost 100 hot dogs. 🌭😄

To every family who came out last night: thank you. Returning Scouts, brand-new faces, neighbors who just wanted to see what this was all about — you filled that field and made it feel like the start of something. 💙💛

The s'mores line around the fire pit was the highlight. So were the Rain Gutter Regatta boat races, the derby track we set up for a few practice runs, the kids who met each other for the first time and were instantly running around like old friends.

A huge thank you to our leaders and parent volunteers who set up, grilled, hauled tables, ran activities, and cleaned it all up afterward. Nights like this don't happen by themselves. 🙌

Mostly, we're just grateful for the community we have here. Standing in that field watching families laugh together, kids make new friends, and neighbors show up for each other — that's the real reason we do this. We're lucky to be part of it. 💙

And to the new families — welcome to Pack 329. We're so glad you're here. 🐾

Pack 329 kicks off a brand new Scouting year tonight, and if you've been thinking about Cub Scouts — this is the night. Just show up. That's the whole ask. 💙💛
