So excited to have the boys back for the school year!

We love when our local high schools volunteer on a weekly basis. It’s a great way for them to learn about what we do at the Red Door!

So happy and so sad today! Our bestie David, who was a seminarian from Philly that did his poverty immersion with us back in January, came to visit us on his summer break!! What a guy.

And we are so sad because this is JJ’s last week with us! He is off to join the seminary in a few weeks to work towards being a priest in the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh.

We will miss JJ!

Thank the Lord for cooling centers!

With temperatures expected to top 90° this Tuesday through Thursday (July 14–16), the City is activating six Cooling Centers across Pittsburgh.

Cooling Centers will be open 8 AM–7 PM at CitiParks - Pittsburgh Parks & Recreation Healthy Active Living Centers in:
📍 Beechview
📍 Greenfield
📍 Homewood
📍 Mt. Washington
📍 Sheraden
📍 South Side

If you or someone you know needs a cool place to escape the heat, these air-conditioned centers are open to all residents.

Father Chris, Santa, and the Grinch all showed up for our practice round of Christmas!
