Shepherd's Heart Fellowship

Shepherd's Heart Fellowship Worship Service and Meal: Sundays at 5:15pm

Drop-In Center: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-11:00am The homeless have a place to take showers and wash their clothes.

As followers of Jesus Christ we are committed to worship in Spirit and in Truth, raising up true worshipers in the church. We feed the hungry, the homeless, the poor, and the addicted, with God's Word and food every weekday morning in our Drop-In Center. We are a congregation of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh - One Church of Miraculous Expectation and Missionary Grace. We provide transitional

housing for homeless veterans in our Shepherd's Heart Veteran's Home. The second floor of the church provides 15 beds, a kitchen, a living room, showers, and a computer room for those who have served our country.

We’re honored to share that Shepherd’s Heart has been recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work.

We’re grateful for the recognition, but what makes Shepherd’s Heart such a meaningful place to work goes far beyond the workplace itself. Every day, our team gets to serve veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and neighbors in need with dignity, compassion, and practical support.

The work matters. The people we serve matter. And being surrounded by a team that believes deeply in that mission makes this a pretty special place to show up each day.

To our incredible staff: thank you for the heart, care, and commitment you bring to this work. This recognition belongs to you.

For someone living on the streets, a clean, dry pair of socks isn't a luxury—it's comfort, dignity, and protection. Something many of us take for granted can make a real difference in someone's day.

Would you help us keep our shelves stocked?

Drop off new socks at Shepherd's Heart or make a financial gift, and we'll purchase them for those who need them most. Every pair matters, and every donation helps us continue serving our neighbors with compassion and care.

Thank you for helping us walk alongside our community—one pair of socks at a time. ❤️

On Friday, at the Hill Free Store, a family will walk in and leave with groceries, household essentials, clothing and a little more breathing room this week. That will happen because donors — people like you — keep those shelves stocked, week after week.

Critical Needs Alert Day is almost over, and we wanted to take a moment to show you the full picture of what your generosity supports, every single day of the year:

🥪 Food for our neighbors through the Drop-In Center — over 25,000 meals this year
alone
🏠Transitional housing for veterans working to rebuild stability
🥫Free groceries and essentials for families through the Hill Free Store

Altogether, this year, your support will help us serve **more than 8,300 people** — real neighbors, real veterans, real families, each one helped because someone believed they were worth helping.

Right now, at Shepherd's Heart Veterans Home, a veteran who once had nowhere to go is sitting in a room that's theirs — safe, stable, and steady — because someone like you decided that mattered.

Transitional housing isn't just a bed. It'ss the structure a veteran needs to rebuild: stability while they access services, support while they get back on their feet, and dignity while they do it. None of that happens without donors funding it, day after day.

Today is Critical Needs Alert Day and every donation will have an impact on the life of a veteran and neighbor.
