Are you a Gambian academic ready to take your research to the next level? We are now accepting applications for the 2027–2028 Fulbright African Research Scholar Program.
This prestigious exchange offers fully funded opportunities to conduct research or design new university curriculum at top U.S. academic institutions, open to Ph.D. holders for 3–9 months of research or Master’s degree holders for 3–5 months of curriculum development.
The program welcomes Gambian citizens across all academic disciplines, particularly those with limited or no prior U.S. travel. The application deadline is September 1, 2026. The United Nations’ (UN) International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is commemorated on June 26 each year.

The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent to society. This day is supported by individuals, communities and various organizations all over the world.

The National Council on Drug Abuse (NCDA) joins with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of National Security to focus the nation’s attention on the negative effects of Drugs and Crime on the country

Today the foundation gave to a future baller Maiwand Jaji in the 8th grade in Pittsburgh Public Schools- Arsenal Middle School. He is originally from Afghanistan. We wish him success in his soccer endeavors. He made a list and we covered it. Zakat! We hope him and his family has a wonderful Eid as well!!
