FOR NEW WESTERN PA BICYCLE CLUB (WPABC) RIDERS OR OTHER INTERESTED ROAD RIDERS

Kris Moser Invites: "If you're looking for a place to start your road cycling experience with WPABC, the Cecil weekly Tuesday night rides are for you. We will be starting these rides near the end of April, or the beginning of May (weather permitting) and we always start the rides out for the season with very easy routes and progressively get more challenging as the riding season progresses. This is a no drop ride - meaning you won't be left behind. For more information, contact Kris Moser - [email protected]."

WPABC comments: "There be hills in Cecil! Also, if you are unsure of your abilities, the start of the riding season is the right time to join a ride group. Don't wait until June when the group has been riding together for 3 months and have ridden themselves into shape!

5 broken ribs. My right clavicle is broken for the second time. A bit of road rash on face and knee. Maybe a concussion. I had about a 20 minute gap until my memory worked again. Some nice young people, including an EMT, picked me up off the ground. My bike probably pancaked as as I tried to get up....
