On May 7, 2026, PSC member Lady Lisa Franklin-Robinson volunteered for the Greater Pittsburgh Civic Regional Civic Bee where area students competed for scholarships. Lady Lisa has been a volunteer for a number of years and and enjoys interacting with the area students. Great work!

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the PSC chapter partnered with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., one of our community partners, by sponsoring and volunteering at their Crimson Launch Tank. The Launch Tank featured aspiring entrepreneurs as they pitched their business plans to a panel of community leaders. Hats off to Lady Marian Woods, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, for promoting this partnership and co-chairing the event!

Last weekend, Teen Leila Wright made a profoundly inspiring impact with the Pittsburgh Playwrights Theater, rising above expectations by serving on will call for the August Wilson play and baking cookies for the cast as well!

The Pittsburgh Steel City Chapter is proud to announce that Teen Brayden Cofield was accepted into the highly competitive and prestigious Vivien Coe Richard Leadership Academy. Our chapter's pride in Brayden's success reflects our shared commitment to supporting our members' growth. We are exceptionally proud that two of our outstanding Teens will attend the Academy at Savannah State University this summer. Congratulations, Teen Brayden!

Congratulations to TTA Teen Leila Wright for being selected to be a participant in the highly competitive and prestigious TLOD Vivien Coe Richard Leadership Academy!!! She will join Teens from across the nation to attend Savannah State University, where Teens will focus on the STEAM Concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. We are super proud of Teen Leila!
