Meet Marley. 🐾

Marley is a sweet 5-year-old pit bull who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. To her family, Marley is so much more than a dog—she is a deeply loved member of their family who has brought them five years of unconditional love, happiness, and companionship.

Today, Marley received her chemotherapy treatment, and The Izzie Fund was honored to help make that treatment possible. 🤍

Her family is doing everything they can to give Marley the best chance to keep fighting, and we’re grateful that we can be a small part of her journey.

This is exactly why The Izzie Fund exists—to help families access lifesaving veterinary care when the financial burden feels overwhelming and to give beloved dogs like Marley more time with the people who love them most.

🐾Sweet Luka 🤍

After losing her beloved dog, Luka’s mom never thought she’d love another. Then came Luka - who quickly became her whole world.

When Luka began limping, his family soon learned he was living with a painful congenital condition: Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease.

His only chance to live a pain-free, active life came with a price tag of more than $6,000—far beyond what his family could afford, despite working extra jobs and doing everything they could to save him from his pain.

That’s when they found The Izzie Fund - Charity

Because of our donors’ generosity, Luka will receive the surgery he needs on August 11th & will finally have the chance to run, play, and enjoy the happy, pain-free life every puppy deserves.

Luka’s mom shared:

“Sometimes thank you just isn’t enough. I will spend my days trying to pay it forward in any way I can.”

🐾 Meet Millie 🤍

Millie is a true survivor with a heart full of love.

As a puppy, she endured unimaginable hardship in a southern shelter, suffering fight wounds to her head before being rescued in 2021. Now she spends her days enjoying walks, road trips, and sunny naps outside.

After everything she’d already survived, her family thought the hardest days were behind her.

Then, in the fall of 2025, a large mast cell tumor on Millie’s back leg required emergency surgery. Since then, two more tumors have developed, making even simple, everyday moments uncomfortable for this sweet girl.

Because of your generosity, Millie was able to undergo another surgery to remove those tumors. Recovery hasn’t been easy. While one incision has healed beautifully, the other required a second procedure to repair it. Through every setback, Millie has continued to show us just how resilient she is.

A cancer diagnosis changes everything. It brings fear, uncertainty, and impossible financial decisions. No family should have to choose between their beloved companion and the care they need.

Because of The Izzie Fund’s supporters, Millie’s family didn’t have to make that choice.

Please continue to keep Millie in your thoughts as she recovers from this weeks surgery. We hope her days ahead are filled with more walks, more road trips, more naps in the sunshine, and all the love she’s waited a lifetime to find. 🤍🐶

The post I dreaded posting. It is with heavy hearts that we share that sweet Coal has lost his battle with cancer.

To Coal’s family, there are simply no words that can ease the heartbreak of saying goodbye to your soul dog. Coal was deeply loved every single day of his life, and that love will never fade. The bond he shared with his amazing humans is shared is forever.

THANK YOU for allowing to be part of Coal’s journey. It was an honor to stand beside your family and help provide hope during such a difficult time. While we all wished for a different ending, we hope the time you had together created memories you’ll carry with you always.

Run free, beautiful boy. May you be healthy again, free of pain, until the day you’re reunited with the family who will love you forever. 🌈🐾

🤍 Swipe for the cuteness! 🤍

It's been a busy month at The Izzie Fund, and we've been focused on helping Baloo get the specialized care he needed.

Meet Baloo. At almost six years old, he might be the oldest dog in his furry family, but this cutie is the baby of the house. He shares his home with fur-siblings: one dog and two cats! This year his family also experienced the heartbreaking loss of his beloved big fur sister.

When Baloo developed a painful hematoma on his ear that required surgery, his family turned to The Izzie Fund for help. Thanks to the wonderful team Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care and the generosity of OUR incredible donors, Baloo was able to receive the care he needed.

With a few set backs in the beginning, today, Baloo is healing beautifully, feeling so much better, and getting back to being the happy, lovable boy his family adores. And…no more cone!

His family shared this message with us:

"Our family is so grateful for the donations that made this grant possible! It helped Baloo get through a rough time and getting the medical care he needed. He is finally healing and doing well. We thank God for The Izzie Foundation. Xoxo Baloo’s Family 🤍🙏"
