🐾 Meet Rocco

Three-year-old Rocco is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever he goes and a personality his family absolutely adores. Sweet Rocco is also learning how to be brave... today, he had pre-op bloodwork for his upcoming surgery.

As Rocco grew, it became clear that his breathing wasn’t normal. What started as concern about his narrow nostrils became a diagnosis of stenotic nares and an elongated palate, conditions that make something as simple as breathing harder than it should be.

When his family received their first surgical estimate, they started saving.

But sometimes life takes an unimaginable turn and doesn’t wait for you to catch up.

Rocco’s fur-daddy was diagnosed with a spinal tumor. Then his fur-granddaddy developed two life-threatening conditions and moved into their home so the family could care for him. And just last month, they had to say goodbye to Trixie, his longtime four-legged companion and sleeping buddy.

After caring for everyone around them, Rocco’s family needed someone to help care for them.

This is why The Izzie Fund exists. 🤍

We’re funding Rocco’s surgery so his family can focus on his healing instead of the cost.

Rocco’s family is also receiving a subscription to Pets After Dark (PAD), an after-hours veterinary telehealth service, generously donated by the team at PAD. Thank you for giving his family additional support as they navigate his care and recovery. 🖥️

When a family is already fighting so hard to hold everything together, the cost of veterinary care shouldn’t be what forces them to lose another member of their family.

Your support allows us to step into that moment and say, “You don’t have to carry this one alone.”

Be prepared to have your 🤍 stolen...Meet Artemis!

For four years, this affectionate, energetic girl has filled her home with pure happiness! From playing with her brother, Apollo, to showering her baby sister, Ellie, with kisses, Artemis loves everyone she meets.

When Artemis tore a ligament in her knee, surgery became her only option to relieve her pain and help her return to the active life she loves. However, without the funds to cover the cost, Artemis’s family didn’t know what to do. But luckily, a friend referred them to The Izzie Fund.

On September 8th, Artemis had her surgery and is successfully healing with her love ones at home.

Her family shared this with us: “She remains the light of our lives, and I am so thankful that we can continue to give her a good quality of life through the use of this grant. So again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Because of our generous donors, The Izzie Fund - Charity is helping Artemis get back on all four paws. Thank you for making stories like hers possible! 🐾

We had such a great night enjoying live music (and support!) from Best Years Ever Band while meeting so many adorable pups, new friends, and sharing more about The Izzie Fund. Every event like this helps us continue supporting local dogs and the families who love them.🤍

Meet Marley. 🐾

Marley is a sweet 5-year-old pit bull who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. To her family, Marley is so much more than a dog—she is a deeply loved member of their family who has brought them five years of unconditional love, happiness, and companionship.

Today, Marley received her chemotherapy treatment, and The Izzie Fund was honored to help make that treatment possible. 🤍

Her family is doing everything they can to give Marley the best chance to keep fighting, and we’re grateful that we can be a small part of her journey.

This is exactly why The Izzie Fund exists—to help families access lifesaving veterinary care when the financial burden feels overwhelming and to give beloved dogs like Marley more time with the people who love them most.

🐾Sweet Luka 🤍

After losing her beloved dog, Luka’s mom never thought she’d love another. Then came Luka - who quickly became her whole world.

When Luka began limping, his family soon learned he was living with a painful congenital condition: Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease.

His only chance to live a pain-free, active life came with a price tag of more than $6,000—far beyond what his family could afford, despite working extra jobs and doing everything they could to save him from his pain.

That’s when they found The Izzie Fund - Charity

Because of our donors’ generosity, Luka will receive the surgery he needs on August 11th & will finally have the chance to run, play, and enjoy the happy, pain-free life every puppy deserves.

Luka’s mom shared:

“Sometimes thank you just isn’t enough. I will spend my days trying to pay it forward in any way I can.”

🤍 Swipe for the cuteness! 🤍

It's been a busy month at The Izzie Fund, and we've been focused on helping Baloo get the specialized care he needed.

Meet Baloo. At almost six years old, he might be the oldest dog in his furry family, but this cutie is the baby of the house. He shares his home with fur-siblings: one dog and two cats! This year his family also experienced the heartbreaking loss of his beloved big fur sister.

When Baloo developed a painful hematoma on his ear that required surgery, his family turned to The Izzie Fund for help. Thanks to the wonderful team Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care and the generosity of OUR incredible donors, Baloo was able to receive the care he needed.

With a few set backs in the beginning, today, Baloo is healing beautifully, feeling so much better, and getting back to being the happy, lovable boy his family adores. And…no more cone!

His family shared this message with us:

"Our family is so grateful for the donations that made this grant possible! It helped Baloo get through a rough time and getting the medical care he needed. He is finally healing and doing well. We thank God for The Izzie Foundation. Xoxo Baloo’s Family 🤍🙏"
