Recently, one of our Healthcare Explorer Club students, Hannah, who is pictured above, right, got news that changed her future. She learned she had received a full scholarship to pursue an allied health career through Allegheny Health Network, in partnership with the Will Allen Foundation.
Moments like that do not happen out of nowhere. They begin when a student is given the chance to explore, ask questions, build confidence, and picture a future that feels real. That is what our programs are here to do. To help students see that their next step is possible, and to make sure they have caring adults and real opportunities around them while they take it.
For Hannah, that support became something life changing. A scholarship. A pathway into healthcare. A future she can step into with confidence. And that kind of story matters because it reminds us what is possible when students are seen, supported, and given a real shot.
Stories like Hannah's are only possible because past donors chose to invest in students. Their support helped create the programs, partnerships, and hands-on experiences that opened this door. But there are still so many young people who need that same chance this summer.
