Bap Pittsburgh

03/09/2026

Dear Members and Friends,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to another exciting year with the Bengali Association of Pittsburgh (BAP). Our organization continues to thrive because of the enthusiasm, participation, and support of our vibrant community.

BAP has always been more than just an association—it is a home away from home for Bengalis living in and around the Pittsburgh region. Through cultural programs, festivals, and social gatherings, we aim to preserve and celebrate our rich heritage while building meaningful connections among families and friends.

As we begin the 2026-2027 year, we look forward to bringing everyone together through a variety of community events and cultural celebrations. From the joyful spirit of the Bengali New Year celebration to the grand festivities of Durga Puja and the warmth of our holiday gatherings, each event reflects the traditions that bind us together.

Durga Pujo Schedule 2024

An incredible experience for these 3 - driving to a shipping warehouse near the port of Newark after going through all the hurdles and delays post port strike at the shipyard and finally bringing Maa Durga home to Pittsburgh right on the day of our pujo. We are blessed and pumped and ready for the festivities.. so much fun awaits us. Thank you for help, Sourav Bandyopadhyay , Abhijit Chatterjee and Gobinda Saha for accomplishing the almost impossible… surely a story to tell for years on from now… let the festivities begin.
