Huge thank you to the WVU Gymnastics team for volunteering with us last week as part of their Big 12 Week of Service!

Thanks to a generous grant from Trusit West Virginia Foundation, we were able to fully fund essential postpartum care bags, and these amazing student athletes brought the energy to get them all stuffed and ready on-site.

These bags are going to be such a wonderful addition to our HEART House, an extension of the Family Connections Program in Morgantown, supporting the families when they need it most.

We are so incredibly grateful to Trusit West Virginia Foundation for investing in our mission and to WVU for the helping hands!

Milestones deserve their own moment. Today marks not only 36 years of the Morgantown House, it’s also the first anniversary of a very special celebration. 🎈

Last year at this time, we gathered with several friends and partners, welcoming them into a fully-renovated and thoughtfully-expanded space. 🏡

Over the years, hundreds of families have found comfort, care and community in this House. We remain forever grateful for the staff, volunteers, donors and partners who support and inspire our work each and every day. 💛

🏒 Hockey is back in Pittsburgh! The Pittsburgh Penguins take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at 7 PM, and we’re cheering on Geno as he kicks off another season of “I’m Score for Kids”! 🖤💛

For every regular season point Evgeni Malkin scores, $710 will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh Morgantown to help families stay close while their children receive the care they need. Local McDonald’s of Three Rivers owner/operators are once again matching Geno’s donation this season, doubling the impact and helping even more families stay close during difficult times.

🍂Last Saturday, the Red Shoe Society brought a little fall fun and a lot of joy to the families at the Pittsburgh House with a Fall Fun-Fest.

Families spent the afternoon painting their own pumpkins, creating fall-themed crafts, and enjoying seasonal treats like apple c***r and pumpkin pie dip.

But beyond the pumpkins, crafts, and treats, the afternoon gave families something even more meaningful: a chance to pause, laugh, create, and simply be together.

When families are spending time at the House, their days can be filled with appointments, uncertainty, and challenges. Moments like this offer a welcome break, a chance to make memories and experience a little bit of the everyday joy that can feel so far away during a difficult time.

We are incredibly grateful to the Red Shoe Society for helping create these moments of connection and comfort for the families. Additionally, a very special thank you to Trax Farm Market who kindly donated the Pumpkins!🍁

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

Once a Ronald McDonald House Family, always a Ronald McDonald House Family. ❤️

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
