At Freeman Elementary, 139 students received encouragement, mentorship, health education, and the reminder that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Together with 17 medical student volunteers, we distributed more than 5,000 essential items, provided over $2,500 in direct relief, and created hands-on experiences that introduced students to the world of healthcare through curiosity, learning, and play.

We’ve established an ongoing partnership with Freeman Elementary to continue supporting students and families with resources, CARE Project assistance, and future opportunities for growth and wellness.

At STLP, impact is measurable, intentional, and community-driven. Here’s what your support made possible in February and March 2026:

Pediatric Support:
We provided $650 in support toward pediatric medical bills, helping ease the financial burden on a family in need.

Home Support:
We contributed $567 toward rent assistance, offering stability and relief during a time of financial hardship.

Every contribution helps us continue supporting families, strengthening communities, and expanding access to care for children.

Today is World Health Day, and for us, it’s a reminder of why our work matters so much.

When our founder, Emaad Khan, was volunteering as an EMT, he noticed a recurring, systemic issue: families in crisis were avoiding life-saving care simply because they were terrified of the hospital bills. That gap in healthcare equity is exactly why Spread the Love Projects was born. Fast forward to today, and Spread the Love Projects (STLP) has grown into a movement. We are incredibly honored to be featured in Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine’s (OUWB) inMEDICINE publication!

Since 2022, thanks to our amazing team of volunteers and supporters, we have: raised over $208,000 for families in need, supported more than 1,500 families, launched a brand new partnership with Michigan Medicine’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

A huge thank you to OUWB for capturing Emaad’s journey, and for shining a light on the incredible work our volunteer team is doing every single day to close the healthcare equity gap.

Today marks the end of Ramadan, a holy month in Islam where muslims around the world fast from sunrise to sunset. Eid-Al-Fitr is a celebration to conclude the holy month of Ramadan where Muslims gather with friends and family to commemorate each others month long efforts.

At STLP, impact is measurable, intentional, and community-driven. Here’s what your support made possible in December 2025 and January 2026:

Home Support:
We provided $483 in assistance for rent, utilities, and essential home supplies, helping families maintain stability during challenging times.

Refugee Relief:
Through $2,351 in food and basic care items, we supported 24 families with essentials including jackets, shoes, water bottles, meats, school supplies, toys, and more.

Clinical Impact:
During these two months, STLP distributed $13,000 in clinical support, including:
• $10,000 to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh
• $3,000 to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital

Every contribution helps us continue supporting families, strengthening communities, and expanding access to care for children.
