As I gave clementine and FinnLee a bath, I started to cry. As I laid her to sleep, I started to weep. Weeping not because I’m sad, but because I didn’t think I’d get the chance to put her to bed the night before her second birthday. The last two years have been full of the fear of when my baby is going to die. As I lay her to sleep one final time as a 1 year old, im filled with great joy that she is still with us. All because of a selfless stranger, she gets to turn two. This birthday feels like the biggest birthday imaginable. We never thought she would have the chance to turn two. We’ve been blessed beyond measure with loving her for two years. Two very scary years, but we are so thankful for them. I cannot believe she will wake up and be two. What a blessing.

This sweet little girl turns TWO in 14 days!?

Since we will still be in St. Louis, we will not being home to have the drive by party we were hoping to have for her. This will be her second birthday celebrating in STL. Although that makes my heart saddened, we are going to celebrate her the best we can, she deserves it!

I’ve had a lot of people ask me what she needs/wants for her birthday, so I decided it was best to just make an amazon wishlist with out new address.

There are two big items we need/want that are pricey, so I felt weird adding them to the list, but my family told me to share those needs also. Here is the amazon list

And the big item on there is the iPad. I know “AN IPAD FOR A TWO YEAR OLD IS CRAZY!” But until you have lived in the hospital like us, you realize how amazing it makes things. She currently uses my phone and it works great, but I’d love my phone back haha

The second big item is not on the list because it cannot be purchased through amazon and that is a toddler car seat. She is currently still in her infant seat (yes she’s small enough lol) but she is starting to get uncomfortable in it and will outgrow it soon. The car seat is the NUNA RAVA which can be found online at Nordstrom, pottery barn kids, and Dillards, or the www.nunababy.com (I’ve added a photo)

We are so thankful for each and every one of you who have loved and supported us in this journey. We couldn’t have done this past year without you all! We love you guys so much.
